For best results check all four boxes describing where you want to search (title, short and long descriptions, and keywords).

Often the words will be in one of the four, but you have no way of knowing which, so it is best to check all four and if you get too many results, back off one at a time.

When using "Exact Phrase" setting, be sure to try the phrase forward and backward. For example: "young fox" and "fox young".

When typing in keywords please remember to use alternate terms if your initial search comes up short of expectations. For instance if you didn't find anything under 'brook', try 'creek', 'river', or 'stream'.

Keywords can include locations such as 'Aspen', names such as 'Maroon Bells', things such as 'Mountains', or descriptive words such as 'red'.

Try plurals or singulars. If 'leaves' doesn't give you desired results, maybe 'leaf' will. If 'aspen' doesn't give you the results you want, try aspens.

If your search yields too few results, try deleting some words. For instance, "golden aspen forest" may yield very few results compared to "aspen forest".

Some terms are too broad and will give you massive returns. For instance, searching "county" alone will give you every image on the site that has the county where it was shot identified. Try defining it as "Summit County" for better results. A term like "trees" alone will give you too many results as most of our images contain trees.

Be sure to try alternate spellings!
